For any of you that suffer from a bad back, you have my total and utter sympathy. When back pain strikes it takes over your entire life. Unable to move, twist, turn or bend without aggravating the most intense pain, it can destroy your quality of life.
It doesn’t matter what you try and do, you are virtually unable to think, the pain is so intense. The video below may not solve the underlying problem and for that we would have to recommend an urgent visit to your doctor, but what it will do is help to alleviate the symptoms and hopefully give you some much-needed relief from the pain. After all, as long as it takes even some of the pain away, it has to be worth it.
The technique demonstrated by physical therapist Manu Kalia relies on nothing more advanced than two tennis balls taped together. Using the balls helps to both massage the proper area, and break up adhesions which should help to minimise acute sciatic pain. Obviously, this is way too important for me to try and describe exactly what to do, so watch the video below and let the experts advise you. Like I mentioned before, this is nothing more than a tool and it is essential you visit the doctor for long term treatment and diagnosis.
