I must be getting really old because it seems like yesterday it was Christmas and already we are about to have Easter. Yeah, I admit that Easter is earlier this year but even so, nearly a quarter of the year has already gone I just can’t believe it.
And due to Easter being early almost pre-spring, a lot of the lovely flowers we normally associate with Easter won’t be available or if they are they will be extortionately priced. So how about saving yourself some money, giving yourself much more colour choice and making your own handmade flowers and let’s get the Easter holiday mood underway.
This is actually very simple to do, especially when I tell you the two of the main supplies needed to make your flowers will be coffee filters and food colouring. Yeah, I know that sounds strange but believe me, the results are amazing, and you can effectively choose whatever colours you want. This is also a lovely exercise to do with your children, who will be very pleased with the end result as I am sure you will be also. Watch the easy step by step video below and enjoy, it really is as easy as it looks.
