It is very hard to make conscious decisions on what the best foods are to eat. You may have been eating something for years quite happily when a medical report will come out saying that such and such is bad for you. Conversely foods which we have previously been told were bad suddenly get switched into the good category. Sometimes it seems you might as well eat whatever you feel like, as the experts cannot agree on anything. That might come off as flippant but sometimes it can be a case of information overload.
However, the latest report seems to show that eating eggs daily can be very good for you. To me, this makes sense when you think of everything an egg can provide. Let’s begin with the negatives and why previously eggs were put on the naughty step. Eggs are naturally high in cholesterol and this was put forward as the main reason why eating them on a regular basis was a bad thing. But new studies have found that if you eat cholesterol in your food, your body naturally decreases the amount it makes to counteract this.
So now let’s get to the good stuff. In the video below we are introduced to many of the benefits of eggs. Some of these include the huge amount of nutrients found in eggs, such as calcium, omega 3 fatty acids, and vitamins for starters. There is also evidence to show that eating eggs can help with brain functioning, can help with your eyesight and even weight control. There really does appear to be so many positives about eating eggs but as with all things please watch the video and educate yourself prior to making any dietary changes. I firmly believe that all decisions should be made after you have personal knowledge rather than simply doing something because an expert told you.
