Tumeric is a spice used regularly in Indian food dishes and has a bright yellow colour. That’s the height of most peoples knowledge about the spice but it turns out that it has many many more health benefits when taken on a regular basis.
Having been widely researched by medics and academics, there are claims that it can cross the brain blood barrier and possibly even reverse or prevent diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia. Furthermore it may have a benefit against things such as cancer, aging, inflammation. With all of the benefits and possibilities, I for one will be adding Turmeric to my diet, after all what have I got to lose?
