This Furry Little Caterpillar Poses Serious Danger To Your Child

As a parent, you have to remain vigilant at all times, and being able to predict the future would be a wonderfully helpful talent to possess. Unfortunately, we can’t do that, so the only thing we can try and do is to educate ourselves as best as possible.

The animal in the video below is a very dangerous little bug for our children. First and foremost it looks so cute and appealing to a child. It is small, furry and kids just want to stroke it, in the same way, they would a dog or a cat.

The problem is that just under that lovely furry exterior are lots of stingers filled with venom. The minute you stroke the animal which is known as a “Puss Caterpillar” you will be stung. The best advice should this happen is to apply scotch tape to the area as quickly as possible and then rip if off, as the tape will attach itself to the stingers and pull them out upon removal. The Puss Caterpillar is native to southern parts of the USA, Mexico, and central America, but normally don’t come into contact with humans, as they live high up in trees. But there is always the possibility that they will fall from the tree, and their cute little appearance is very attractive to kids. Forewarned is forearmed so at least now you know what to look out for and not to let your kids touch this little bundles of fur. Watch the video for the full details and to see one of these Caterpillars for real.
