Just prior to writing this article I put on a washing. I filled my washing machine with clothes, grabbed a laundry detergent pod threw it in, pressed start on the machine and settled down to find you some more helpful videos. I will admit this one scared me stiff and made me reevaluate my whole laundry process.
The pods are convenient, no messing about with separate conditioners or pouring the washing liquid into the drawer, they provide grab and go convenience. But what I had never considered was that to a young child these pods look like toys or maybe worse sweeties. They are attracted to them and want to put them in their mouths. But as this footage shows, there is some sort of chemical contained in these pods, the when it comes into contact with blood creates acid in the blood stream.
The little boy in this video nearly died, and he is not the first. So either rethink your storage options or switch back to the old methods of using washing powder, either way, keep your family safe.
