There is nothing nicer than walking into your home, or indeed a room within your home and smelling a beautiful smell. And the beauty of indoor air fresheners is that you can be totally in charge and have the room smelling perfect to suit your taste. There are generally two options available to us, we can buy the expensive candles or plugins from the shops, but then we are limited to the scents that the manufacturers decide is what we like, or we can make our own.
I am sure it will come as no surprise to learn that today we are going to go down the do it yourself route. Apart from being considerably cheaper this also gives you total control of the scent, and if you are feeling brave you could even experiment with a combination of scents until you find the smell you truly love.

There are basically two varieties, one has a lid with holes punctured in it to release the scent, the other has no lid, so may be slightly more restricted as to where you place it.
