Architecture is not something that I have ever studied, nor indeed is it anything that I could claim to know anything about. However like most people I imagine, when I see something I like I can certainly appreciate the skills and expertise that went into the creative process.
In the video below we are taken on a tour of a home set in the old fishing quarters of Barcelona Spain. When you see the outside of the property it looks very small and cramped, but I feel that seeing that side of the building gives you a great starting point, and potentially an even greater appreciation of what the architects have achieved.
When you enter the property they have made amazing use of lights giving us a beautiful ambience and that’s just from walking up the hallway. Inside the main bedroom, there is a shower in the shape of a glass cube. This is totally see through so as the presenter says it could be very sexy, but if you prefer there are blinds to give you some privacy. The entire shower is on a higher level than the rest of the floor and this gives the impression of it floating in mid air. The rest of the property is equally as stunning but words cannot do it justice. It has to be seen to be believed. So please watch the video below, wallow in the wonderful Spanish architecture, and perhaps steal some ideas for your own property.
