Every girl has always loved her jewellery, and it seems every teenager is permanently attached to their mobile phones. Normally neither of these would cause a problem, but this poor girl discovered to her cost how the two items certainly don’t mix.
She was upstairs on her phone which due to having been used so extensively during the day was low on battery. She plugged the phone in to charge it and continued using the phone. What happened next is both a shock and a warning to us all.
The charging cable of the phone had come into contact with the necklace she was wearing transmitted an electrical current through the necklace, causing second-degree burns.
