It’s a horrible issue to even think about, but unfortunately, many women in our society are attacked physically or sexually every single day. I have often thought about the best options available to assist in keeping women safe, and whilst arming women with some sort of weapon is one option, the biggest risk with any weapon as a part of your defence strategy is that there is always an element of increased risk, where the attacker can take the weapon from you, and then use it against you.
So this new invention may be the perfect solution. Made in the shape of an understated piece of jewellery, the device looks nice and casual. But should you come under attack, then all you need do is press the button on the device for three seconds. Like a normal rape alarm, this will start a high pitched noise which hopefully will scare your attacker off. But the clever thing, and what makes this unique is the device then instantly calls the police and gives them your location. Not only that but it will also text your friends and family with your location. This is such a clever idea and I would personally like to thank the inventor.
