Now that we are in the middle of winter, temperatures have dropped, and personally i can think of nothing better than being wrapped up warm, in front of the fire, there are other more hearty souls that like to venture out onto frozen lakes in the name of pleasure – Ice Skating.
Having never been one for the cold, and being even less interested in falling down onto a rock hard freezing cold surface, i am also aware that for some people this really floats their boat. So if you have any friends who are into the ice skating on open lakes experience please please encourage them to watch this video. You could save their lives, and am pretty certain you will learn something from watching yourself. Remember you never know when you could require this knowledge in an emergency.
