This video teaches you one of the easiest hacks to solve all of your tumble dryer problems simply and easily, and I will be the first to admit that I had absolutely no idea about this. We have always been taught that provided you can see through your lint filter then it’s clean enough. It transpires that if you ever use fabric softener then the rules are different. As demonstrated below, even though you can see through the filter when water is poured on it the filter retains that water. If you follow this through to a logical conclusion you know this means that air can’t pass through as efficiently. Therefore, your machine has to work a lot harder. By simply washing the lint filter with a washing up brush, the problem is solved quickly and easily, saving you time, electricity and the expense of replacing your dryer earlier than necessary.
