Cutting a rope is pretty easy if you have a sharp knife or a pair of scissors. But how can you do in times of emergency if you don’t have anything except the rope itself.
Thanks to YouTube user DaveHax, this video tutorial is very simple. If you need a precise length of rope to be cut, you need to put a mark on it.
Simply step on the rope and place the marked portion in the middle as shown in the video. With the few up and down motions, the rope is cut in a few seconds.
And yes, you can also do it on thick nylon rope.
