You Won’t Believe The Benefits Cinnamon Can Bring To Your Garden

One of my favourite spices is that of cinnamon. ‎Whether it’s in cakes, on popcorn, or any other food types I just cannot get enough of it. And luckily it’s one of the few things in my diet that is actually good for you, so I don’t have to feel guilty. But it seems that the benefits of cinnamon know few boundaries and for the gardeners amongst you, this top tip will certainly bring a smile to your face.

Now that the planting season is fast approaching, ‎we want to ensure that we give those plants every opportunity and advantage in order to enable them to thrive. ‎As avid gardeners, I am certain many of you have experienced that fungus that grows on the plants eventually resulting in damping off disease, which we all know can be damaging or even fatal to our growing plants. The fungus thrives in exactly the kind of conditions that out seedlings require and so it’s not surprising that these problems occur.

But this is where a trip to your spice jar to get some cinnamon is going to come to the rescue. ‎Cinnamon has protective properties that help to combat the fungus and keep your plants safe and healthy. All that is required is a small pinch of the spice in the relevant areas, don’t oversaturate. The spice will not do any harm to your plants but will defend them powerfully against the fungus.
