Keep Your Dogs Paws from Getting Burnt This Summer

The summertime is a great time of year, but along with the good, there is some bad that we need to be aware of. One of the things that can certainly be of harm is a hot road, and if you have ever had the experience of walking barefoot on asphalt, you realize it can be quite painful. What you may not think of, however, is the fact that it is painful for you but it is also painful for your dog as well.

When the temperatures get up into the 80s, the pavement underneath us is often said to be hot enough to cook an egg. Although it may not fry an actual egg, it can certainly do a lot of damage to your dog’s paws, so you need to be aware of the possibility from the start. Although the pads of a dogs paws will offer a limited amount of protection, it is not enough.

In the video below, you will see a way to ensure that this doesn’t happen to your dog again. Remember, your dog loves going for walks with you and they may not let you know that there is a problem until severe damage has occurred. Take this preventative measure first.
