If there is one thing that many of us enjoy doing, it is little DIY craft projects. They can be a lot of fun and they allow our creative side to come out every once in a while. Of course, there are some difficult projects out there that most people would not want to tackle. Then again, there are some relatively simple projects, such as this one.
Don’t be too quick to judge the simplicity of this project; the end result is absolutely stunning. All you have to do to get started is to blow up a balloon. From that point, you would brush doilies with glue and stick them to the outside of the balloon. Once you have the outside covered, simply pop the balloon and you will be left with a wonderful, creative shell.
This shell is beautiful but when you use it as the outside of a home lantern, the results are going to be even better. Try this one on your own or involve the kids. It is great fun to do.
