You Have Probably Been Throwing Away The Best Part Of Your Avocado

Avocados are the healthy eaters dream come true food. Whilst really good for you, packed to the brim with nutrients and good fats, they taste delicious, and it is hard to believe when eating avocado that you are actually eating some seriously healthy food. Guacamole, for instance, is absolutely delicious, and yet really good for you. It almost seems too good to be true, and yet would you be shocked to know that there is even more positive news about this superfood?

What about if I was to tell you that the healthiest part of the fruit is actually the part that most people throw away? How unbelievable is that? And yet that is exactly the case, as it transpires that the skin and the seed are the healthiest part, and yet most people throw these into the rubbish bin.

Now obviously if you value the teeth in your head, then you will have worked out that you will have to modify the seed ever so slightly for it to be of any value. So with the help of a grinder, grate the seed up into small pieces and then you can use the small pieces in a variety of ways. Here are some ideas to get you started.

Add to smoothies or salads to be consumed for additional nutrients
Use as a nutrient-rich exfoliant to get smooth, radiant skin
Make a natural dusty rose dye for fabrics
Make your hair shiny and help fight off dandruff
