A Dark Ring around Your Neck Could Mean Diabetes

Childhood obesity is a growing problem but there is another problem that goes hand-in-hand with it, the possibility for type II diabetes.

This was discovered by a 14-year-old girl named Pantera when she began to see changes in her health. One of those changes was a dark ring around her neck.

At first, the mother thought that it was just dirt but it turned out to be the sign that pointed to the fact that Pantera had type II diabetes.

It is a dark pigmentation that is known as Acanthosis Nigricans and can appear on the neck, under the arms or the groin.
