Palmistry (also known as chiromancy, palm reading or chirology), is an old practice found everywhere in the world with many cultural variations. It was mentioned thousands of years ago in Hindu astrology and Chinese books. Ancient Greeks were also interested in palmistry and passed the knowledge on to the Macedonian king Alexander the Great who always used it before fighting his many battles.
As it happens with controversial knowledge, some people are skeptical and dismiss it as false beliefs, while others fully believe in it. There are four major lines: the heart line, the head line, the life line and the fate line which can be read and give us information about a person’s character or their future life.
